  • How to move forward from my first measurement

I am in the process of trying to recover from some type of exhaustion/burnout. The past year have consisted of pushing myself to (or beyond) my limits, followed by 6 months of more or less collapse. I am starting to feel gradually better and I am hoping to use the measurements as a guide forward. Any tips are much appreciated ?

    Hello Anonymous,

thank you for your measurement and also the brief information.
It's great that you're ready to now focus on yourself and pay attention to your health. In some areas, one can see that your vitality and thus your overall vitality could/should be improved, but that this simply takes time. What I really like is the quality and duration of your sleep - the RSA, the blue clouds, are doing their best to ensure that you can recover at night. But one can also see that your system is still running at full speed in some areas - recognizable by the elevated heart rate curve; according to the measurement, you spend more than 7 hours in the heart rate zone for walking/manual activities, but your activity log doesn't reflect this. In other words, this could be a lever you can tap into - probably mentally, how you can bring more relaxation into your everyday work life.
You can, of course, work on your parasympathetic nervous system on your own, using relaxation exercises like deep abdominal breathing. The relaxation you experience during the first third of the measurement shows that you have the potential. Repeated, short nudges in this direction during your daily work routine can improve your performance and stress management. Whether that's enough, however, and whether you might need other support, is something you'll have to find out for yourself.
